Putting Up The Distance Teaching's Platform Of The Continual Education Institute Of The Northwest Normal University

Along with the development of the correspondence education of the continual education institute of the Northwest Normal University , original teaching model and teaching method can not satisfy the teaching requirement, can not suit the development of times , and unfavorable students' independent study. At the same time, what it is along with the teaching scope enlarges gradually, and original teaching installation and life installation all can not satisfy the needs of students. It is thus clear that it is imperative to reform original correspondence teaching model. The distance teaching based on the computer network has provided the better settlement way for us. This kind of distance teaching method can be carried on the two-way each other teaching of scattered real time, and can provide study environment that is favour of students' independent study and the study information extensively, and possesses a lot of virtue such as asynchronous study and prompt evaluation etc.This text mainly introduced the work of putting up the distance teaching's platform of the continual education institute of the Northwest Normal University. This work chiefly includes the needs analysis, and what the platform was put up in the course correlation technique problem realizes the appearance being up to standard to the merit ability that the platform possesses to the basic idea of platform design, architectural structure and operational environment.This platform mainly consists of four systems: the net teaching system, the net teaching management system, the teaching resource management system and the network course development tool. This platform possesses the merit to enrich and the structure is reasonable and support the merits such as many kinds of teaching courseware formats etc. This platform after diving into the use will raise the quality and standard of the correspondence education of the continual education institute of the Northwest Normal University, and gains the better teaching beneficial result.
