The Values Of Undergraduates In Contemporary Situation & The Relationship With Their Study Adaptation

As the high education develop quickly in contemporary China, the values of university students become outstanding actuality problem,plural socity , the university students mental character and other facters cause their value conflicted and adapted study hardly.The present study attempts to explore university students value and the relation between value and the study adaptation by means of questionnaire,implicit test, experiment and case study method,combining with correlation and path analysis, system assess the relation between value and the study adaptation,it also examines the rule of study adaptation which including value clarifying and intergration,hence the formation of the mechanism model of value and the study adaptation.The study explores the relation between value and the study adaptation by adopting a quantity-qualitative research method,based on the results of value and study adaptation questionnaire traits on 1192 unversity students, implicit test on 43 university students, experiment on 59 unversity students,and included case study.The results of the present study show as follows:(1) Characteristics of unversity students values show as follow:the rank of principal aspect of values is social goal,personal goal and behavior mode;the rank of subdivision aspect of values is family love,public pro fit,justice,worldconsciousness, self-confident, self-control, achievement,c haritable,study orientation,money and power,tradition, stimulation and hedonism.Man students attach more importance to achievement, self-confident,hower,woman students attach more importance to self-control,charitable;only-child students attach more importance to public profit, self-confident,but others attach more importance to family love, self-control and achievement. Implicit association test show university students prefer to altruism and regulation,but most of them believe that others prefer to egoism.(2) The situation of unversity students study adaptation is not optimistic,the level of study adaptation five aspect are all lowly; the level of study environment is the lowest among them,the rank of others aspect is style of education,physicially and mentally healthy,study motiviation,study abaility.There are significance difference between males and females in study motivition,style of education and achievement of study,females is better than males,however, males is better than females in physicially and mentally healthy,but the difference is not significance.(3) The relationship between value and study adaptation show as follow:there are significance correlation between social goal and physicially and mentally healthy, significance correlation between personal goal and motivition, study abaility, physicially and mentally healthy, achievement of study; there are also significance correlation between behavior mode and motivition, study abaility, physicially and mentally healthy. Study orientation and self-control are intimatlly significance correlation with study adaptation,the otheres in proper order is study adaptation, self-confident, tradition, charitable,there are negative significance correlation between study adaptation and stimulation and hedonism ,money and power. Physicially and mentally healthy is the most intimatlly with values.Regression analysis show social goal effect is weakly,however,personal goal and behavior mode effect are significance, self-confident, study orientation and self-confident effect are significance in all subdivision aspect of values,menwhile, study adaptation can also affect values.(4) Path analysis show overall values,personal goal and behavior mode affect study adaptation by mid-variable indirectly.There are three direct path affect study adaptation:self-confident, study orientation and self-confident, self-confident is the most outstanding.Values variables acted as an energizing device for study a...
