Content: Using quantitative and demonstrative analytical method, this article intended to have a study on the unbalanced development of our national education. On one hand, this article analyzed the unbalanced development current situation of our national education; on the other hand, it analyzed the influencing factors of the unbalanced development. The results showed that: (1) the developments of education in various areas have differences that lie in the development size of senior education and the amount of education investment. (2) As a whole, the education difference in various areas is not enlarging. (3) The level of education development in eastern region is higher than that in central and western regions. The education developments of three regions have differences that don't intend to enlarge. The differences of education development in various areas of eastern region are larger than those in the other two regions. The differences in ,eastern region don't intend to shrinking, on the contrary, the differences in the other two regions intend to shrink. (4) Three main influencing factors of education development are economy, culture and technology, they can explain the 75% of the variance. (5) Speaking of the comparison between three factors, economy, which accounts for 43.9% of the total effort, make the largest contribution to the education development, technology accounts for 38.94% and culture accounts for 17.16% as well. (6) Economy is the crucial factor, and it has direct effects and indirect effects through the other two factors to education development. However, the effects aren't enlarging unlimitedly with the development of economy.
