Study On Web-Based Inquiry Experiment Teaching Process

The experiment-teaching process that is regarded as the crucial part of the experiment teaching is the research object of this thesis. The inquiring teaching mode is regarded as the leading mode of the experiment teaching. The inquiring experiment teaching process on Web-based is defined, and the four basic elements-the learner, the teacher, the inquiring content and the inquiring environment--inthe inquiring experiment-teaching process on Web-based and relations between four elements is discussed. The author proposes three basic stages, say the question-choosing stage, the inquiring and constructing stage and the appraisal stage.In the instructional design that is the foundation of the inquiring experiment-teaching process under the environment of the network, the author adopted the design orientation that combined the "Content orientation" with the "Ability orientation". After analyzing different characteristics of the learners, the author designed the inquiring contents and the aims of the inquiring experiment-teaching .On the base of the preparative stage of the instruction design, the author analyzed various kinds of transmission tactics of the information in the experiment-teaching course. About the control of the experiment-teaching course, the author regarded the four basic elements in the inquiring experiment-teaching course as the controlled objects, proposed four kinds of the control tactics: the complete control tactic and the non-complete control tactic, the linear circulation control tactic and the intellectual control tactic, and then the author designed the control interfaces. And then the thesis put forward a multi-pluralism appraisal tactic that combined the appraisal of the teacher, the self-appraisal of the learner with the mutual appraisal of the learners.Under the guidance of the instruction design theory in the experiment-teaching course, the author who took the physics circuit connect experiment as a example, developed a inquiring experiment-teaching platform under the environment of the network, and proposed a system of the experiment-teaching platform. After the thesis introduced the platform that is used in the science course and the technical-training course, the author proposed some modules that undertake different functions in theexperiment-teaching platform.On the base of the design of the experiment-teaching platform, the author developed a platform of the inquiring experiment teaching by five steps under the environment of the network. Firstly, on the base of the B/S system, the author adopted a new system that was made of the B/S system and the C/S system in the experiment-teaching platform. Secondly, the author put forward a set of hardware and software that were assembled in the server and the client in the experiment-teaching platform. Thirdly, according to the system and the function of the experiment-teaching platform, the author selected some developing instructions, such as C++Builder6, Asp and SQL Server2000 and so on. The author coordinated the relation between C++Builder6 and Asp, and solved the database-visiting problem. Fourthly, according to the needs of the function of the inquiring experiment-teaching platform, the author built the backstage database with SQL Server2000. Finally, according to the aim of the experiment-teaching platform and the characteristics of the developing instructions, the author programmed the codes of the modules in the teaching platform, developed the appraisal module, the "experiment & data-collecting" sub-module in the learning module and the "query" sub-module in the management module with CC+Builder6, and some other modules with Asp, Photoshop and Flash, etc.. Especially, the author communicated the client and the database in the learning module with the ActiveX of the CC+Builder6, and solved some problems of which the experiment was operated.
