Nowadays,there exist crises in junenile's cultural life. We find critical inadequacy in both terchers'and students' reading through our inquiries and analyses.The main problems are the low precision in rending materials and the inadequate instruction of the teachers'.For these reasons,we find it necessary to strengthen the reading tasks of the students as well as the teachers,and to enhance the teachers'instruction to the students.The extremely urgent thing is to enhance the teachers'self-reading and their instruction to the students.lt depends on the characteristics and the tasks of this subject. It has great significance to the students' healthy growth;the teachers' self-improvement,and to our country's prosperity.To improve their intellectual framework,modern Chinese teachers should read guiding materials,instructive materials and some extensive materials.Chinese teachers can adopt various reading methods;such as to trace back to the origional materials;to compare with similar materials;to communicate with the students;to check the reading by putting it into practice;to learn new things by reviewing then and so on.Also,there are many ways for the teachers to help the students to better their reading: such as to combine in-class activities and after-class activities;to set right the students' some wrong concepts about reading;to draft some sound plans to built a very good reading atmosphere for both teachers and students;to promote the mutual understanding between students and teachers in order to reinforce the reading effect;to carry out various of reading activities to stimulate the reading interest of the students.We can also check the result of the disccessed reading methods by the way of communicating between the students and the teacher in the classroom,to write articles under the same title,to take part in the same test for both students and the teacher.
