A Study On Humanity Spiritual Education In Geography Teaching In Secondary School

In the educational field, through the research and discussion for many years, strengthen the humanity spiritual education in the discipline teaching has become a common ground progressively. This paper attempts to announce the advantage in the humanity spiritual education in the geography teaching in secondary school, analysis the reasons that caused the humanity spiritual education to lack in geographical teaching, on this basis, discuss the channel and measure of humanity spiritual education in geography teaching of secondary school.This paper is divided into four parts. The first part introduces the meaning of humane spirit and humanity spiritual education, introduuces the necessiness of humanity spiritual education. The second part analysis the unique advantage in implementing the humanity spiritual education of geographical teaching in secondary school. As a borderline course which connects the natural science and the humanities, geography pay mainly attentation to the interaction between environmental and human activities, relative to the other subjects of natural science or the subject of the humanities in basic educational teaching, the geographical teaching can find the combination point and the penetration point of humanity spiritual education better. The third part analysis the reason of humanity spiritual education's lacking and declining in geographical teaching in present secondary school from teaching's guiding ideology, teaching's content, assessing for teaching, and teachers,etc. The fourth part discusses the measure and the channel of humanity spiritual education in geography teaching, it is the focal point of this paper. These channels andmeasures are: Correct the losing of teaching's guidelines; Offer the teaching's content that is helpful to implement the education of humanity spirit; Train a high-quality geography teachers; Change appraise idea and way. Establish a-new-appraise-system; Implementing the humanity spiritual education in the teaching activity.
