The problem of Feeling for language and the teaching of Feeling for language is one of the important theoretical and practical issues in the Chinese education circle in recently years. A Thorough retrospect and a further probe-into will be helpful to the present Chinese education revolution. According to the developing target of Feeling for language in the standard of the Chinese curriculum in 2001, the paper reviews the modern teaching theory of Feeling for language , especially the conception of Feeling for language ,the characteristics of Feeling for language, the questions in practical operation in Chinese teaching ,in order to inquire into its essence and its psychological mechanism, provide reliable psychological basis for the present Chinese teaching of Feeling for language. At the same time, the paper will elaborate its developing history and present situation in primary scriools and middle schools. So we can provide reliable strategies for teachers to improve present blindness and random teaching tendency in actions and promote teachers' theoretical self-cultivation and their practical operative ability ,so that we can make the developing strategies of feeling for language to perfection. I also design a set of evaluation system of feeling for language to Chinese teachers, they may use this system to evaluate their students' level of feeling for language.
