Teaching management of modern higher institute is a comprehensive system with multi-function, poly-elements, complex structure, and wide sphere. The socialist market economy system has shaped up basically, and it is perfected gradually. Request for reforms of internal management system of higher institute arose with developments in modern agriculture and education innovation. Under these circumstances, innovation of teaching management system and running-mechanism of higher institute becomes an imperative. The research, from view of innovation of teaching management, concentrates on setting up a management system, organizing complex, and running-mechanism of undergraduate teaching, which adapts to quality education, facilitates developing innovative spirit and practical ability of students, and promotes overall reforms of the institution. Taking higher agricultural institutes as the object, the research commences with internal relations between sectors and elements of undergraduate education management. Research methods applied in this paper is mainly a combination of document research (document method) and model research (interview method), as well as probe of theories, comparative analysis and summarization from practice.The thesis gives a brief account of developments of research on reforms of management system and running-mechanism of undergraduate teaching, comprising necessity and rationality of innovation, innovation of ideology, innovation of mechanism and system, summary of experience from the reforms. And a summing-up to explorations in these reforms is drawn. Through a descriptive and comparative analysis into teaching management system and teaching system of universities of seven countries, the thesis summarizes characters and reforming trend of teaching management system and running-mechanism of Chinese universities.-3-Based on examining conspicuous problems, new situation and demands, rationality of reform of undergraduate teaching management system and running-mechanism of higher institute, the thesis briefly clarifies demands for innovation of undergraduate teaching management system and running-mechanism of higher agricultural institute put forward by macroscopic and microcosmic circumstances including transformation of economic system, development of modern agriculture, and reform of education and teaching.Proceeding from summarizing beneficial experience of teaching management, the thesis proposes innovating undergraduate teaching management system and running-mechanism of higher agricultural institute with conformity thought, and expounded on basic content of conformity thought and its application in teaching management on the basis of expatiating theoretical foundation and elementary principles of innovation of higher institute undergraduate teaching management and running-mechanism.The thesis advances innovating thoughts of teaching management while adhering to scientific development outlook, elaborates objective, train of thought, principles, and basic structure of innovation of undergraduate teaching management and running-mechanism. It suggests establishing a tri-level undergraduate teaching management system consisting of institute, faculty, and department, giving priority to the institute. Much importance is attached to teaching management of institute, and the teaching management system with structure of "circles of multilevel". The thesis puts forward the open invigorative teaching management running-mechanism embodying conformity thought, particularly assessment systems of teaching quality, overall quality of student, teaching work of faculty and department, and their respective invigoration. Innovations and shortcomings of this research are also presented, and suggestions for further study offered.
