Studies On The System Of Educational Quality Management In Xi'an Institute Of Technology

Teaching is the main task in universities. The management of teaching quality must be strengthened in order to effectively train person with ability. The quality has become the soul of the existence and development of higher education. In our country higher education has shifted from the stage of elite education to that of mass education. the quality has gradually come to people' s eyes. After China entered WTO, overseas education institution came into the business and made the competition of vocational education even more severe. Therefore, vocational education quality management and guarantee system shall be established to provide the science effective management pattern for the higher education and ensure the development of vocational education sustainable and in well order. Teaching quality management system has been mainly researched in the paper, in order to provide a more scientific and reasonable teaching quality management system for universities.This article first discussed the domestic and foreign researchers' research about the teaching quality and the teaching quality management. It has analyzed the quality management theory and the idea with the comparison test and proposed profits from the ISO9000 family standard. By using its advanced quality management theory,the technology and the method, Xi'an Institute of Technology can establish advanced teaching quality management system, which take the process management as the foundation. Firstly, the fundamental character of quality management about the home higher institution has been analyzed in this paper, and it is very emergent and necessary to introduce the IS09000 family standard to the higher institution. Secondly, consided of the reality of education quality management of Xi'an Institute of Technology, the establishment method and the process of education quality management system were proposed by implying the principle of IS09000 family standard. Meanwhile the basic frame of the educational quality management system is set up according to the IS09000 family standard. It gives the comprehensive analysis on the four aspects of the teaching quality management system which includes the management responsibility, the resource management, product realization and so on. At the end, the author's idea and advice of the guiding ideology and the controlling on executing the system of educational quality management of Xi'an Institute of Technology is pointed out.
