Since our country has implemented "211"projects and "985"projects, forming and development of our research university has a good policy foundation and school environment. Comparing with the world-class university, its teaching idea, method, means and teaching quality security system still have disparity. At the same time research universities themselves have different opinions about their quality view, talent and education views. Their opinions also vary to the thing that how to establish the research university .So putting forth on the research of the research university's teaching is very meaningful and necessary .This text starts with the understanding of the research university's teaching meaning ,stressing the four levels of teaching and regard this as prerequisite and foundation of probing into teaching of research university .Then, it analyzed the teaching system which includes the study and research as a whole organic ;Competitive product of course offered; Contents such as inter-dynamic of learning and teaching. Thirdly, it is combined with characteristic and requiring inherently of every factor of the teaching quality of research university and regard it as breakthrough point Finally ,the thesis knows the question and deficiency existed in the teaching of research university objectively, using the above-mentioned theories to analyze and prove into the teaching of our country's research university, to seek the fast-developing countermeasure of the research university's teaching ,and putting forward the suggestion.
