Content: Since the 21st century, Human beings are to enter a world where information technology is developing faster. The continuous appearances of new theories of education are changing people's idea about the education and teaching. As a new teaching means, network education, which differs in the means, the content, the mode, and even the concept from any education style, will gradually be a new choice for the people go get educated. So for it has been progressing smoothly in the course of education, thus laying an overall impact on traditional classroom-textbook and teacher-centered education both in theory and practice. Therefore, teachers are challenged by this new form of education as far as their teacher-roles concerned. There is no time to delay in transforming teacher-role.This article, based on the fruits already gained in this field, analyses Net and Net Education and discusses on the problem of the transiting of teacher-role under the circumstance of Net. The author brings forward some strategies to achieve the transition. The essay can be divided into six parts:The first and second parts explain the background and the significance of the research, point out that the transition of the teacher-role is the necessity of the developing of the modern education; then analyses the study literature on the teacher-role inside and outside the country and point out their limitation. The third part analyses the developing and status of the network education carefully; and explain the conception of the network education > its characters and the influence on the teaching. The fourth part analyses the intension of the teacher-role, and denounce the disappearing idea of the teacher-role, the essay points out that the teacher-role not only continue the former roles but also add new intensions more.The fifth part brings forward the strategies to achieve the transition of the teacher-role mostly. Changing the idea of the teacher is the most important one and it is the precondition of doing other things.The last part makes a summary of the essay. It makes the conclusion of the essay more clearly and points out some innovations and shortages.
