The Research On MiniQuest Instructional Design

Content: The research on the variation of educational thoughts modules and methods is the most important things of implementing quality education . cultivating students' creativity and facing challenges in the next century. MiniQuests are online instructional modules designed by teachers for their students that promote critical thinking and knowledge construction. As a result, MiniQuest will be a new module of accommodating the reform of education informationization. On the meanwhile, it is the necessity of the reform of courses.The thesis, using the new instruction design theory to direct MiniQuest instruction design, provide MiniQuest instruction design module, and the analysis of each phase, put the new instruction design theory into the practice, also leave the MiniQuest instruction design to a new level of systematic theory.Based on plenty of literature, the thesis construct the module from the two sections between the framework of the theory and cases. Section one has introduced the concept and the character of MiniQuest, including the differences of the MiniQuest and WebQuest. Get MiniQuest instruction design module, and give the illustration of each design phase, especially discuss resources and assessment of MiniQuest. Section two has given some MiniQuest instruction design cases.
