The21st century is called "Information Age","Network Age" and "Digital Age". In this background, the "second wave" of information technology in education along with the arrival of committed to developing the digital age learners. Learner centered education concept has become the consensus of more and more people. Pay attention to the cultivation of students "learn to know, learn to do, learn to live together, and learn to live" this one concept is also win support among the people. The new century the requirements of talent training objective is to cultivate students’ ability of learning research, the teaching and learning way corresponding transformation.MiniQuest is a network based micro research learning model, which makes students participate in solving a real subject or problem, through research activities to answer the question, so as to promote the students’ critical thinking and knowledge ability the development, this is in line with the new century talents training objectives.Moodle as the world’s most popular course management systems in the world, its open source, free, powerful features and advanced teaching philosophy provides a strong support for MiniQuest learning.Firstly, Moodle and MiniQuest feasibility analysis based on the theory; then, introduces the research programmes and four themes; secondly, the second themes as an example, introduced the Moodle environment MiniQuest teaching design, teaching process and the Moodle platform to realize MiniQuest learning; finally, through questionnaires, interviews, experiment based on the Moodle biological MiniQuest learning effects were analyzed and summarized.
