The situation of experiment teaching in high school chemistry teaching becomes more and more important presently. However, the traditional chemistry experiment teaching which has played and will still be playing a great role has some drawbacks that can not be overcome by itself, which is not good for getting the best teaching result .To change this situation ,we must reform .How to reform? The microscale chemical experiment (abbreviated to M.L.),of course, is a good choice .This essay first makes an introduction about the meaning, characteristic and current situation of the development of M.L. so that people can form a systematic understanding on it .Then the necessity and urgency of popularing M.L is proposed based on the analysis of current situation of the traditiongnal chemistry experiment teaching, and on the mean while , some successful examples in some areas on M.L. teaching are exhibited to show people the feasibility of M.L. Last , based on the research and introspection on the current situation of performance of M.L. in high school in WuHan city, some reason why M.L is difficult to spread in high school is discussed and some detailed practicable approaches are araised .
