With the popularization of information technology curriculum, people take more care of it. And the teaching methods of information technology curriculum affect the teaching quality directly.The author analyses several typical teaching methods on the problems of information technology teaching in middle and primary schools, tries best to find contrasts between the new methods and the old ones and the different results. In the specific instruction analyst, the author shows how to use the new teaching methods and make sure they can be used for reference. In the discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of teaching methods, the author inquires the better ways. And the study on development orientation in the future makes the new teaching methods successful.The paper consists of five parts.Chapter I Preface. From the development situation of information technology, this part discusses the importance of studying the teaching methods of information technology.Chapter II The background and the aim. The author discusses the importance and the imminent of studying the teaching methods of information technology. From its peculiarities, the author advance the aims on studying the teaching methods and makes it the study orientation.Chapter III The theory of teaching methods. This part introduces the concepts of information technology and teaching methods, introduces the usual teaching methods and its basic requirements, takes the theory of teaching methods as a guide and discusses the sustaining theory and the experience base of the teaching methods of information technology.Chapter IV The instruction practices of the teaching methods of information technology. This part introduces the tasks, the aims and the principle of theinformation technology teaching, analyses the specific instruction cases, discusses the feasibility and creativity of new teaching methods, contrasts the old teaching methods with the new ones, provides teaching reference for teachers with their teaching practices, and makes a good basis for better teaching methods.Chapter V The summary. The development of information technology changes with each passing day. There is no fixed methods in teaching. It's the best to finds out a suitable methods according to the teaching practices, Integrating Information Technology into the Curriculum and inquiry teaching are the two fields in front of us. Information technology teaching must reflect the new tendency of development under new situations. At the end of the thesis, it's slightly discussed.
