Facing today's quality education, rapidly changing world and society, and moral education in middle school which has been drawing more and more public attention all the time , this essay suggests that teachers in middle schools should intensify moral education by teaching. Moreover, it's Chinese teachers' responsibility to help to improve it. First, this essay briefly talks about some facts and problems about the moral education in middle schools and states that middle schools need to improve their moral education, based on the psychology of teenagers. Second, this essay also briefly talks that it is necessary, possible and effective to carry on moral education by Chinese teaching, because moral education and intellectual education are dialectical, and also because the characters, content and viewpoints of Chinese teaching make it possible to improve moral education through Chinese classes. Third, this essay, in detail, puts forward many possible ways and means to proceed moral education in Chinese classes, and it also talks about some principles of it. Above all, this essay suggests many ways of improving moral education by Chinese teaching and at the some time , includes a large number of examples. Such as: digging teaching materials, inspiring students to take an active part in moral education, carrying on moral education by introducing the background of the materials, choosing the facts about morality, etc. In a word, the writer hopes to do something for the moral education and quality education of middle schools through this essay.
