In recent years, influenced by the expanded enrollment in college and the great upsurge in senior middle school, all the vocational schools in our country have 3 major difficult problems in varying degrees. They are about source of students, teaching and employment. Teaching problem is the key, because it will affect the others direct. Mathematics is abstract, logical and it requires the students have a good foundation. Because of these characteristics, it became one of the most difficult subjects to teach.H.Gardener, an American famous psychologist, in his 《Intelligent Structure》, said that there are great differences between people's intelligence. Each person's intelligence has its own special structure and character, and in proper conditions, it can reach a certain degree.As the reformation of traditional Mathematics method raised the inner quality of Mathematics teaching by changing the tactics, and it not only makes Mathematics teaching fit for each student, but also helps the students improve together. It gives expression to teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and suits the requirements of competence education. In a long time, the research of Mathematics gradation teaching method lays particular emphasis on Mathematics teaching in Middle schools. Concerning the vocational students' characteristics, the paper tries to introduce the theory and the operation methods in details of Mathematics gradation teaching method to carry out it in vocational high schools.
