The Chinese textbook,is the "bridge" between teachers and students,it is the carrier of curriculum standard has been achieved.So the language of teaching materials and teachers’ teaching quality is directly related to the quality and the implementation of the education target.Along with the advancement of elementary education reform in our country,reform and adhere to the "people-oriented" concept of education,and Chinese curriculum standards fully improve the students’ Chinese accomplishment,these are all for language teaching material requirements are put forward.As the communication and development of the world,edging towards integration in the collision of Chinese and western culture,foreign new education thoughts,ideas,has great impact on the education of our country.From the perspective of the constituent elements of the language teaching materials,the articles in the core position in the language teaching material,is the core of Chinese teaching resources.Language teaching material to write to the essence of teaching how to learn from other countries,also want to the shortage of other countries to take,politics,economy,culture,to the United States is leading the world,its education,language education and language teaching material but also play an important role.Compulsory education curriculum standard experimental textbook of Chinese people’s Education Publishing House(hereinafter referred to as PEP)select readers California state literature textbook "with the United States"(hereinafter referred to as the California version),publication time is generally similar,with regional wide representation,and the two versions are very the similarity of texts in the.Reflects as the world power,the reform trend in the textbook system.This paper mainly includes three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction explains the origin of the topic and the significance of the comparative analysis,combs the present research situation,and puts forward the ideas and methods of the research.The first chapter,two edition teaching materials of text selection system.This paper introduces several concepts and Sino US curriculum standards for each textbook.In order to find out the theoretical basis for the selection.The second chapter,two text system overview and features selection.Respectively introduced the general situation of bilateral selection,selection and characteristics.It lays the foundation for comparative analysis.The third chapter is the comparison of Chinese and American junior middle school Chinese textbooks.This chapter of the two edition of the selection of teaching materials,capacity and space,text genre,text author and other aspects of the comparative study.Analysis of the gap between the two editions of textbooks.The fourth chapter reflections and recommendations on selection system of two edition after comparison.On the basis of a comparative analysis,to find out the similarities of the two editions of textbooks,to reflect on the advantages and disadvantages of the California version of the textbook,and to make recommendations for further improvement of the teaching materials.The conclusion points out the significance of this study and the direction of future research.
