In June 1971, the Japanese government declared to come into force the third education reform. Since then, Japanese education reform is deep into continuously, and they obtained lots of successful experience. It has the important meaning for researching and drawing lessons from the third education reform in Japan, to study the way of the Chinese education reform and to realize the strategy of " the section teach to make a country strong". The foreword part includes the background, the meaning and the purpose of choosing this topic and it also contends the studying method, the studying results, the creative point and the present condition about it domestic and international. The text part comments the background of the third education reform in Japan the reasons, measures, practice, characteristics, problems and development trend etc. of the Japanese education reform 70 ages, 80 ages, 90 ages 20 century. On the basis of research, draws lessons from the experience and function of the third education reform in Japan, points out the problems exist in the educat ion reform of our country, and brings up some considers and enlightenment in order to push the development of our education.
