Population aging is the right product of human society's development. It not only reflecting the mankind's civilization progress,but also having wide and profound influence on the economic foundation and superstructures of a society.And its influence to the social security is one of them. Therefore, can we solve the relationships between popolation aging and social security well, directly affects our society and economy's sustainable development.So the study of population aging ang social security has very imortant realistic meaning . This paper mainly studies the problem of the tendency of population aging and the old's social security in Jilin Province in the future fifty years (2000-2050). It introduces the related concepts of population aging and some basic theories of the old's social security, the current status and trends of population aging in Jilin Province, also the situation of the old's social security in Jilin Province. It approaches the pressure and challenge from the relationship between population aging and the old's social security during the aging and puts forward several countermeasures. Population aging is virtually the process of population structure changing. With the development of social economy, it's inevitably occurs that the old population increasing and the proportion of the old people growing. Social security emerges with the industry modernization for keeping the society stability and economy developing. Generally speaking, unemployment, medical treatment and old-age security consist of the social security's "Three Mainstay". With the development of aging, little by little the old's social security becomes the main part of social security and holds the important position. The old's social security is the social protection and social security action, which provides for the people who reach the legal retire age or without working ability because of old age by nation and society.
