Study Of The School-based Development Of Synthetic Practice Activity Curriculum

In June 2001, the Ministry of Education officially issued The Outline for Basic Education Curriculum Reform and commenced the new-round curriculum reform. This curriculum reform makes some important breakthroughs and innovations in many aspects including curriculum idea, curriculum content, curriculum evaluation, curriculum implementation and curriculum management etc. Synthetic practice activity curriculum and school-based curriculum are officially implemented as two high lights in this curriculum reform.After the implementation of new curriculum, schools and teachers in some districts have been devoting to the development of school-based curriculum, but they contribute less to the development of synthetic practice activity curriculum. The Ministry of Education called some experts together to frame The Guidelines for Synthetic Practice Activity Curriculum, but did not provide the authorized textbook for this course, so the district and school must develop the synthetic practice activity curriculum according to the real situation. Is it possible for us to integrate the synthetic practice activity curriculum with school-based curriculum to consider?The study holds that synthetic practice activity curriculum must take the road of school-based development.
