Chinese course has close contact with actual life. The abundant local culture is important resources of Chinese Course. Chinese teachers should make full use of local culture, and incorporate in right amount Chinese teaching of local culture. They should guide the students to study Chinese in the large classrooms of the nature and society and widen space of Chinese study. Local culture has its unique function of Chinese teaching. In this thesis, I have taken Chinese teaching mixed with culture of Yi yang for example and I also have done some research. In my introduction, I'll briefly introduce local culture and culture of Yi yang. The main body consists of five following aspects.â…  . I have made some investigation about the current situation of Chinese teaching. There're five aspects in my investigation: interest and understanding about local culture, the necessity and effect about Chinese teaching mixed with local culture, the reason and ways to obtain local culture, the teacher's attitude to guidance, the tips for Chinese teaching mixed with local culture in the middle school.â…¡. Expound the characteristic of Chinese teaching in local culture. There are five characteristics of Chinese teaching in local culture. They are: regionalism, humanity, tool, richness and dynamics.â…¢. Expound the Chinese teaching function of local culture. It consists of six functions: function of cultural continunity, function of moral education, function of art education, function of construction of Chinese course, function of practice, function of research.â…£.
