The theory of sociology think that role's formalization is role's behavior or behavior model prescribed by society. Every social role need keep to role's behavior or behavior model prescribed by society. Role's formalization have been formed in lasting social life, while found it through social activity of an individual, also is an indicator that human being adjust social behavior of an individual accord with social expectation.Such research methods as document and data consultation, face to face talk, interview, questionnaire, and logical reasoning are employed in this article, attempting to synthetically apply viewpoints of pedagogy, sociology, sociology of education, psychology, etc, according as method of combining theory and practice, discuss on role of middle school PE teacher.We think vocational role of modern teacher include these aspects: first, social expectation of teacher's role second, playing of teacher's role. Third, forming of vocational role of teacher.We think PE teachers should build up a better vocational role which public recognize. Their role set include magnificent moral character. excellent profession ability, correct attitude of cognizing on vocation, applying professional knowledge and skill joint to populace and course of physical education teaching.Influencing role's formalization of middle-school PE teachers include vocational moral, vocational ability, rights and obligation of role, and indentifying with course value.Model of role's formalization of middle-school PE teachers should obey three factors, abiding by dominant culture of society, abiding by educational formalization and healthful life style.To investigate Role of PE teacher of public cognizance, contrasting and analyzing their value, image and expectation accepting by public, then bring forward objective mode of role's formalization of PE teacher.To build role's formalization of middle-school PE teacher, we need to consummate establishing content of role's formalization, intensifying role's consciousness, organizing role's learning and building up monitor system, etc.
