For a long time, the bottleneck question of preventing making a breakthrough in the reading teaching process is: regard reading teaching as teacher's one-way transmission course as a result of the single thought casts of host and guest. Therefore, reading teaching activity becomes demonstrating the dull and dreary monologue instead of vivid, happy and harmonious activity. This has violated the essential rule of reading teaching to some extent. As this current situation exists, this text, on the basis of deeply understanding of the book "The Course Standard of Chinese" and drawing experience from the research results about dialogic reading teaching, attempts to probe into the new topic of teaching in two aspects of theory and practice from the essence of reading teaching.The paper is divided into four parts altogether:Part I: The basic connotation of dialogic reading teaching. This part focuses on knowing and understanding the dialogic reading teaching from the following four aspects: dialogues, dialogic teaching, dialogic reading teaching, dialogic reading teaching and monologue reading teaching.Part II: The theoretical foundation of dialogic reading teaching. The modern aesthetic theory, the studying theory of building and constructing, and the theory of educational associating offer the suitable soil to the dialogic reading teaching rudiment, and build the theoretical foundation of pedagogy for its rational existing.Part III: The ways of dialogic reading teaching.
