"Course Resource ", an important concept put forward in the course reform, is a new research topic to each subject. Chinese, as the mother tongue, has an advantage over the other subjects in its rich resources and various means of exploiting and using. However, owing to the old closed teaching method, course resources in and out of schools could not be fully explored, and could only be idle and waste. Things in thecountryside are even worse. The educational policy in china is judging everything bythe city, which brings the formulation of the national teaching programmes and standards, which only lie in the city education level, while in spite of the great differences between city and countryside in educational environments and resources. So, the teaching of Chinese in the countryside is just a simple copy of the city model, which seriously loses contract with reality. Many teachers think few course resources can be developed in the countryside, yet from the angle of the key elements of source, which can also be plentiful, only different in the use. Considering the above, the writer of this paper puts forward the following research topic: the development and use of the course resources of Chinese in the countryside, which considering the reality in the countryside and using means of comparative and operational investigation tries to seek the cause of being idle and waste, analyses and generalize the main contents and characteristics, then advances some strategies on how to develop and use the resources. Hoping this paper can be certain helpful both in theoretical reference and concrete practice, such as digging out the potential course resources of Chinese in the countryside, impelling the Chinese teaching in the countryside to surpass its limited educating contents, changing its limited educating contents, changing students' passive position, stimulating teachers' potential creating ability, and promoting the course reform's being smoothly carried out in the countryside.
