The Research On The Supporting Technic Of Network-Based Higher Education

With the coming of information society, long-life learning and individual learning call new learning modes. Network-Based Education (NBE) is the inevitable result of the reform of instructional communication means and instructional methods, and is the result of the high development of instructional technology and the modern instructional theories.In this thesis, the author first analyzes the development, actuality and basic theory frame of NBE, and then tries to find out the fundamental technique characters of NBE. According to the characteristic of NBE, that is not only the intervention of technic, but also the high dependence on technic, this thesis takes the technique environment of NBE in Higher Education as the emphases, which is the campus network to meet the needs of NBE and the NBE software platform. About the supporting technic of campus network, the thesis finds out the essential requirements of technic caused by the NBE, points out a series campus network design principles and technique strategies which fit the standards of the NBE and field of the educational technology itself not the field of IT. About the design and development of the NBE software platform, by analyzing the application requirements of the NBE, considering the modern instructional theories can get effective and controllable embodiment during the process of the NBE, the thesis points out the tendency of the NBE software system should developing towards the direction of structuring, intelligent and system, which gives the instructional values of the selection and design of supporting technic of the NBE.The relative research production has been used in the practice of the NBE. The author have developed the software platform system to support the NBE, which now runs in the real NBE environment. The system has got further test and optimization, and got good using efforts.
