Along with the progress of the society and the development of the early child education, kindergarten administers and managers have been increasingly aware of the solidly grounded kindergarten culture, which, like an invisible hand, plays an indispensable role in the scientific and sustainable development of the kindergarten. This study will place the spiritual culture, which is at the core of the kindergarten culture, in the broader cultural and educational context, and probes the impact of the spiritual culture on the management and development of the kindergartens in the army.This study applied a social research methodology and identified the following elements of the kindergarten employees, especially teachers, of different age groups and cultural background: guiding principles of kindergarten administration and management, theoretical paradigm of education, traditional culture, mainstreaming opinions, value orientation, leadership capability, interpersonal relationship, and their assessment, opinions and suggestions on the construction of the kindergarten culture. Therefore, the status, problems and strategies in the construction of spiritual culture in army's kindergartens.A sample survey was conducted using questionnaires for kindergarten employees and kindergarten children respectively. A total of 410 questionnaires were completed and collected from respondents randomly selected from 7 kindergartens. The kindergartens covered by the survey represented the various levels and sizes of the 10 military kindergartens in Lanzhou Municipality. Statistical analysis of the data collected from the questionnaire survey and follow-up interviews, observations and a literature review were conducted, to identify and analyze the situation of the spiritual culture of the military kindergartens in Lanzhou, and thus the following conclusions were drawn:1. The kindergarten teachers demonstrated positively an awareness and attitude towards their career. They regarded early child education in the army an important and glorious cause.2. The military environment has an impact on the spiritual culture, especially the atmosphere, of the kindergarten, which inherits conspicuously the tradition and style of the army.3. The competence of the kindergarten leadership influences the performance and development of the kindergarten.4. The army's kindergarten is recognized and accepted by the parents and public, and the public and parental opinions have an impact on the management and development paradigms of the kindergarten.5. The spiritual culture of the army's kindergarten exerts a subtle and facilitating influence on the competency, physical and mental development of the children.
