Nowadays we are in a dialogue time. The dialogue becomes one method for people to get along with people, and becomes one kind of spirit, which the people pursue. The dialogue once has been used as a kind of teaching method, and this method leave behind the charming story in the teaching history. Along with marches into the dialogue time, the spirit of the age of the dialogue arouses the echo in the education domain. The dialogue no longer is regarded as merely the teaching art; the dialogue is importantly regarded as the principle, which the new times teaching pursues. Professor Liu Xi Qin proposed the concept that the dialogue teaching had the revolutionary significance. He thought that there would be two kinds of the understanding of "dialogue teaching": "One, regards the teaching which take converses as the teaching method as the converse teaching. Two, regards the teaching which take converses as the principle as the converse teaching ". Professor Liu Xi Qin emphasized that the dialogue teaching regards converses as the principl. This also meant, the dialogue teaching possibly presents by the conversational mode teaching, but other ways so long as are used under the dialogue spiritual control also belongs to the dialogue teaching.The reading teaching is always the great difficulty in language teaching. Although the dialogue teaching theory can not solves all the questions in reading teaching, but it at least has provided a new angle of view and the ponder space for the reading educational reform. Based on the dialogue theory, reading teaching takes the dialogue as a principle, we should builds the dialogue atmosphere consciously, awakens teachers' and students' exchange consciousness, guides the student through the exchange and the interaction on own initiative to sharpen the reading ability, at the same time urges the student to realize the significance which grows in reading, and finally arrives the ideal boundary that the teachers and students grow together in the education.Under the instruction of the dialogue theory, the author has carried on a lot of researches in the teaching practice, and has attempted to explains the dialogue theory through some bright teaching cases in the reading teaching utilization, induced the reading teaching basic principle and the strategy based on the dialogue theory. Because the dialogue theory reading teaching emphasized the student reads initiative and creativity, it has the vital significance to make sure the importance of the student, to develop the study ON potential of the children, and to raises the student independent personality and the creation spirit.
