This research aims at probing into high school president' style of dealing with organization conflicts. Through comprehending the president' s conflict cognition, action intention , conflict disposal manner as well as conditions of school conflict management confronted with the organization conflicts or awareness of potential conflicts, a primary understanding of the most possible approaches of the conflicts and corresponding effects on management efficiency and school culture is achieved and performance of high school president' style of dealing with organization conflicts in the background of Chinese traditional culture is validated.In order to achieve the above purposes, this research begins with literature review and analysis, then summarizes theoretical and empirical research concerning high school president' style of dealing with organization conflicts home and abroad including the basic concept, formation, genre, cause, disposal manner, etc. According to the measure table of organization conflicts adapted by Rahim and measure table of reaction manner of conflicts amended by Wang Zhenhong as well as the questionnaire based on the literature review, 156 presidents from 51 public high school in Wenlin city completed the questionnaire. Among these presidents, ten have been interviewed and three case analysis is presented.According to the above empirical research, the writer knows that the president' style of dealing with organization conflicts is prone to be cooperative and then compromising followed by yielding style and competing style. The last is shunning style. The writer also finds out that the formation of different styles is related with the gender and period of duty. The president' style of dealing with organization conflicts functions respectively in the different situations. Confronted with the conflict, employing multi-ways of handling the conflict is more efficient than the single method. In other words, there is no universally correct and single key in the situation of dealing with the conflicts. The research also validates that still a large number of presidents hold that the conflict is harmful to the organization and employment of radical technique is very common.According to the research results, the following proposals are put forward: First, the management of conflict should be listed as the required course of the president training, which is aimed to cultivate the right attitude towards conflict. Second, establish the effective arbitrary procedure of dealing with the organization conflicts in school. Third, nail down the task of management of organization conflict and enhance the technique of conflict management. Forth, the technique of inspiring conflicts should be properly employed in order for the presidents to choose the right strategy of conflict management.
