Now it appears an attractive scenery that information technology is being integrated into English courses in the China essential educational field. Quite a few experts, scholars have discussed on many aspects on the integration between information technology and courses, but an integrated theory has not yet been formed, let aside the theory between information technology and English courses.This dissertation discusses the modes of the integration between information technology and English teaching . It falls into six parts in all. The first part introduces the integration between information technology and English teaching, including the background, the definition, the research condition at home and abroad , the significance of the research; The second part is about the necessity , the feasibility and the existing problems of the integration between information technology and English instruction; The third part elaborates the theories on which this dissertation is based on; The fourth part is the key point, which elaborates the essential principles , the levels and the modes of the integration ; The fifth part gives some examples of the integration; The six part points out some problems and countermeasures; The seven part serves as a conclusion and outlook.
