Reflection On Life Education In The Middle Schools In Our Country

This is a study on Life Education in the middle schools in our country. It intends to explore the necessity of implementing Life Education in the middle school, the contents of Life Education and how to carry out Life Education with the help of cuniculums, expected to draw forth valuable opinions of others and to initiate the educators to reflect on the problem of Life Education, thus to contribute to its perpetual promotion.In order to achieve the above purpose, in this study, literature review, dialogue interview and inspecting method are mainly adopted to forecast the general view and situation on the problems of Life Education in present middle school education.The research conclusion is as follows: the present situation of our society, the function of family affinity, the sound development of middle school students themselves and the educational reforms all require that Life Education should include seven sections: the recognition of life, the awe for life, the understanding of life, the love for life, the protection of life, the tapping of life and death education.Based on the conclusion of this study, several constructive suggestions are proposed to related institutes: Life Education should be implemented in the middle school phase, relying mainly on moral education as its chief implementing channel and fused with all the teaching activities of the school.In terms of teaching methods, the stressing point should be put on the application of various methods, and the teachers are requested to acquire the consciousness of life and transform the educational concepts. Of course, there exist some straits in the promotion of Life Education in middle schools, which require more overall cooperation of the whole society to shoulder together the responsibility of life Education.
