Research And Practice Of Mathematical Research-Based On Learning In Secondary Schools

This paper centers on the research and practice of mathematical research—based on learning in secondary schools. This topic was originally set up in May, 2004 and was able to be concluded in June, 2005, spanning over one year and two months. The research in this paper is concerned with the theory, teaching practices and experimental cases on the research study for middle school mathematics, including the following facets. Firstly, it expatiates on the definition of research study, the history and present situation of research study at home and abroad as well as the features and operating patterns of research study; Secondly, the author has conducted a series of research on the connotation of the research study of middle school mathematics, the significance and objectives of carrying out such practices and the principles and strategies in choosing a specific research study topic for middle school mathematics; Thirdly, the author probes into the practices of research study for middle school mathematics from the perspective of teaching practices and in-class cases, that is, the practice of research study for middle school mathematics by means of some research study lessons and the teaching method penetrated by research study. Fourthly, the author sets forth that by carrying out the research study in middle school mathematics teaching, it will upgrade the vocational qualities for the middle school math teachers, improve the comprehensive abilities for students and in time brings about a deep revolutionized change in the field of basic education. Fifthly, the author also wants to take advantage of this paper to share or exchange some benefits as well as some existent problems in terms of conducting the research study in middle school mathematics with other middle school mathematics educators or researchers.
