Physics concepts are a summary and description of the characteristics and attributes of physical phenomenon and processes. They are the basis and important part of physics. The teaching of physics concepts is a very important part of physics teaching in Senior Middle School. And the research into physics concepts in Senior Middle School has become an important subject of physics teaching research at home and abroad.Founded on the former achievements and guided by pedagogy, cognition, philosophy and the theory of Structural Curriculum, the essay covers some techniques for teaching and studying on the basis of my teaching experience and careful research into the physics concept teaching, aiming at solving the problems that exist in the teaching of physics concept in Senior Middle School and they are also of great help to students.In the essay I think the formation and understanding of physics concepts is a process of the interaction between teachers and students in the teaching material of physics concept. And we should follow the teaching principle and methods. Meanwhile, it is a process of the development of cognition. It must be founded on the knowledge students have grasped before. And then students can form in mind new physics concepts gradually and grasp new information about them.The essay points out that the teaching of physics concepts should consider the theory of cognitions as its foundation .And teachers should so some research into the teaching materials and reality of students and analyze the contradictories inside physics concepts. And it also points out the part of students, as well as teachers, contributes a lot in effective teaching.
