The school-based training is one of important teacher training modes in teachers' further education. As a school-based teachers' professional development model, school-based training has exhibited a great number of advantages and begun to become one of the important channels of teachers' further education. It is for the school, in the school and on the school. This training start with the problems existing in the school and ends up in solving the problems. It targets to promote the teachers development, to promote teachers' professional development, to promote the development of the school, by solving the problems that the teachers encounter in their work.Based on literature review and investigation, the study analyses the practice of the training through comparison and case study etc. In view of the primary and middle schools, it constructs the practicing sequence, provides some training types and models for various schools.The paper is composed of five parts:Part one analyzes its concept, meaning and briefly talks about the situation of current school-based training and analyses it .Part two introduce the professional knowledge of teacher and the current situation of the teachers' professional development. The part also explore the ways of promoting teachers' professional development.Part three states the principles of the school-based training and how to select the training contents. This part also study the ways of training and the evolutional system.Part four is the key of the thesis. In this part , the writer analyses the cases and tries to explore the way to school-based training and how to evaluate it .Part five summarize the study .
