Educational concept is the idea and spirit pursuit guiding educational behavior, which must be determined according to the special educational object, target and task. It is very realistic for university of technology to establish the educational concept integrating science education and humanistic education in the case that economy and culture are rapidly developing. This paper deeply researches the necessity of integration in science education and humanistic education based on current educating situation of student majored in engineering, firstly, the development of scientific technology requires the integration of science education and humanistic education in university of technology; secondly, time progress call the integration of science education and humanistic education in university of technology. In addition, this paper investigates the scientific feature of this integration, whose theoretic support concludes the theory of people's whole development, opinion of harmonious education and scientific talent; whose realistic basis have the requirement of returning to origin university concept, the necessary choice of high education and the need of cultivating the creative talent who can receive science revolution and knowledge economic challenge. This paper also analysis the inter relationship of the two education, i.e. the influence of humanistic education on the science education and the humanistic value to the students in university of technology. Finally, this paper discusses the realization of integrating humanistic education and science education in university of technology from two aspects of in-class and out-class. On the basis of emphasizing the educational concept of integration, teaching management mechanism should be completed, teacher's quality should be increased and the main channel role of teaching should be embodied, at the same time, the school culture and practice activity should be carried on actively to realize the students' integration and enhancement of science and humanistic quality.
