Promoting the integration of Humanistic Education and Science Education is the needs of social development, and also is the needs of development of discipline and higher education. Research on the integration of Science Education and Humanities Education in university not only can enrich the study of higher education in theory, but also can provide important guiding significance to the reform of higher education practice, especially the promoting of teaching contents and curriculum reform.Before the birth of modern natural science, in the West, humanities education dominated. After the birth of modern science, humanities education and science education show clearly struggling, and ultimately the rising and the expansion of the science education and the declining and the falling of Humanistic Education. This paper sort the evolution history of the relationship between Science Education and humanistic education, and points out the old ideas; students are absent of subjectivity; the severity of malpractice of education system; curriculum fragmentation; the quality of university teachers is low has led to the difficulty of the integration of Science education and Humanistic education. The uneven development of human knowledge system, right to choose simplistic philosophical schools, the functions of differentiation in the University, and the humanities education is characterized by itself, which lead to the reasons for these barriers. This regard puts forward the approach of realizing integration of Science education and Humanistic education, establishing philosophy of Science education and Humanistic education, seeing liberal thought as the guiding ideology,concerning about the subjectivity of students, enhancing teaching management system reform,carrying out curriculum reform and enhancing the quality of teachers and campus culture.
