England is the country that finished the Industrial Revolution and had been the capitalistsociety earliest. England created the advanced industrial civilization and science andtechnology civilization,owned a lot of famous scholars in the 18th and 19th century. Butcompared with Germany,France and Japan,the science and technology education in Englandgot behind. Analyzing the reason why the science and technology education in England gotbehind will contribute to understand the relation of the science and technology education withsociety development. I summarize the following factors that restrict the development of thescience and technology education:a great number of child labors were used in the earlyindustry time blocked up the development of the education;science education trend ofthought did not implicate science education advanced,but only implicated the thought thathad not been realized. Classic education in school,scarcity of eligibility teachers,churchcontrolled the school education and English government was not care of education,those allrestricted the development of the science and technology education.
