The education of M.Ed (Master of Education) is a new education form in China, the development is very prosperous but its history is short. While M.Ed with 70 years history in U.S.A., has already been at the mature stage in development now. American M.Ed has explored and formed a set of distinctive, revolutionary curriculum systems progressively. Research on M.Ed curriculum in U.S.A., indicating the development rules of M.Ed curriculum and its characteristics, produces profound influence on the curriculum construction of M.Ed in China.This thesis is mainly divided into four parts:Part One: Foreword, demonstrates the research background, research meaning, its development, basic scheme and method of this research, and clarifies the main concepts.Part Two: A brief introduction of M.Ed development in U.S.A., has been analyzed from the background of origin and development, training objective, development scale and rate, and its kinds and specialty, etc.Part Three: The research of M.Ed curriculum in U.S.A., mainly including six aspects: curriculum objective, curriculum design, curriculum structure, curriculum content, curriculum implement, and curriculum assessment. Each aspect includes two parts, first, brief introduction, second, characteristic analysis and appraisal.Part Four: On the basis of research in the former several parts, proposes four suggestions, which are meaningful to curriculum construction of M.Ed in China. First, constructing the integrated teacher education curriculum system;Second, reforming M.Ed curriculum;Third, improving teaching methods for M.Ed;Fourth, establishing multi-assessment system.
