| At present, the high school professional art education has been facing a range of challenges. Among them, the compatibility of the setup of the courses with the marketing needs has been attracting rising interest. Currently, the available courses in professional schools have been mostly aiming to the college entrance exams, which diluted the original prospect of professional education and made the positioning of professional schools ambiguous. Therefore, this paper promoted the strategy of home-design courses based on every single school's own situation. The impact of this strategy on the development of art professional school education was also discussed. This paper is composed of three major parts.In the first part of this paper, the idea of this strategy was introduced. Based on the current situation of professional art education, the significance of taking this strategy was discussed.In this second part of this paper, the literature and practices related with this topic were reviewed. The definition of the home-design courses was introduced followed by a brief summary of principal methodologies and the progress of its practice in China.In the last part of this paper, the majority body of this paper, a detailed research work was described along with the data analysis. The importance of practicing this strategy was re-emphasized according to the analysis of the situation in present professional art education. Furthermore, the seven-step procedure to apply the home-design idea was elaborated in details. Finally, several cases of applying this strategy were studies to demonstrate how it would benefit the development of the professional art education and fitting the marketing needs better. |
