The study of electrifying education's history is a basic and an important work. We can understand the essence and characteristics of electrifying education more profoundly through the study of history. Also we can get more experiences for the future of electrifying education. Electrifying education was born in the early 20th century and developed with the reformation of education and improvement of instruction. The electrifying education has serviced the social education and schooling for nearly 100 years. There has been some study about the electrifying education's early history, but their study tells more about the facts but not enough comments. They didn't combine the facts with the society environment and education theories at that certain time. Then the study of history is insufficient. The result is that we can't learn the electrifying education or educational technology comprehensively and practice correctly.This thesis talks about the early history of Chinese electrifying education based on others' study about it. The main facts come from the history of education, the history of films and some works about the educational technology. This thesis tries to combine the facts with the society environment and education theories at that certain time by get more effective facts and clues. On the one hand this thesis gives a general description about the early history of electrifying education. On the other hand this thesis deeply studies some organizations and institutions which have advocated the development of electrifying education. Facts and comments have been the two important parts of this thesis, to give an insight into the electrifying education's future is also an important part.This thesis has been divided into seven parts. Part one talks about the current study of electrifying education's history. Part two talks about the general facts of early electrifying education's history and gives some effective clues. Part three explores the Jin Ling University's activities about early electrifying education. Part four analyzes the connections between some important organizations and early electrifying education. Part five talks about the connections between the American audio-visual education andChinese early electrifying education, especially talks about the influence of Dewey's beliefs about democracy and education. Part six gives some enlightenment from the study of the early history of electrifying education. The ending is the summarization.
