The Research Of Xiao Shuzi’s Media Theory Of Electrifying Education And Its Practice

Mr. Xiao Shuzi was one of the most important founders in China’s electrifying educationfield. His thoughts on electrifying education have great significance to the development ofChina’s educational technology. With the rapid development of media technology, theapplication of educational media turns to a technical phenomenon with one-sided pursuit. Thethoughts on media in the field of educational technology are divergent and the theories ofmedia are complex. This study tried to summarize Mr. Xiao’s media theory of electrifyingeducation and theorized its practice to get the revelation from its experiences.This study was based on the literature review to classify Mr. Xiao Shuzi’s scientificresearch and relative materials. We got a great deal of firsthand data from the hand scripts.Part of which was based on the interview. This study systematically expounded andobjectively evaluated Mr. Xiao’s media theory of electrifying education from the opinion withthe concept of electrifying education media, the attitude of the media theory of electrifyingeducation’s foundation, the analysis of electrifying education media’s application conditionsand the expounding of electrifying education media’s application principles. The studyelaborated the practice environments of Mr. Xiao’s media theory of electrifying educationfrom the dimensionalities of theory, institution and physics. It took the procedures of mediapractice apart from the angles of its subjects, objects and characteristics. By analyzing theresult which was got by the media practice, we can conclude that Mr. Xiao’s media theory ofelectrifying education and its practice can influence the development of educationaltechnology nowadays, even to the whole field of education.
