As it is the growing point and breakthrough of history curriculum reforming in middle schools in china, the running of a researching-typed learning course of Chinese history in middle schools raises great concerns. The reforming ideas it reflects in Chinese history education reforming point us a way full of expectation.The running of a researching-typed learning course of Chinese history has changed teaching ideas and teaching methods as well as ways of learning, and if has also promoted the development of researching-typed learning.Researching-typed learning should be absorbed while learning history, and also the researching course of history in middle schools should be studied.This article is trying to discuss these issues, they are the background of the idea of researching- typed learning in history learning, the goals of the course, the rules of choosing the topics, the procedure of operating, the models of researching-typed learning and assessment. It is divided into four parts.The background of the ideas of researching-typed learning in history learning, is discussed in part 1.Part2 introduces the goals of researching-typed learning in history learning.Part3 discusses the contents of researching-typed learning in history Learning in middle schools, rules of choosing topics, the details of the procedure.Part4 analyses models of history learning rules of assessment, ways of assessing students, self-assessment and assessing each other.
