With the advance of the new curriculum and the implementation of quality education, and further enhance the level of teachers’professional development, secondary educational researching also has significant changes, it is a major trend to focusing on teachers’educational researching quality for the development of the universal teachers’education. It’s an important way to improve the quality of teaching, an effective way to achieve the teaching modernization, and the key to push education revolution. To a certain extent, teachers’attitude towards the educational researching, their personal qualities and their ways of research have a direct effect upon the development of the educational researching in their schools. In view of this, I have made a survey of the educational researching in Hanzhong City. My aim is to provide a reliable basis to improve the quality of educational researching of the regional middle school teachers.This research adopts the methodology of literature reviewing, self-designed questionnaires. Which is given out to two hundred middle school teachers in Hanzhong City. From the investigations, we have got a relatively comprehensive and objective understanding of the status of middle school teachers’educational researching quality in Hanzhong City, which can be a recommendation to improve the educational researching quality of middle school teachers there.The results of the investigating and analyzing are as follows. Firstly, middle school teachers’educational researching awareness is relatively strong but their actions lag far behind. Secondly, middle school teachers’teaching tasks are heavy, especially the teachers in Hanzhong City. Thirdly, middle school teachers’educational researching knowledge is inadequate. Fourthly, schools do not pay attention to educational researches and the managing institutions are not perfect. Fifthly, the guidance to researches in schools is not perfect which cannot provide the necessary information. Last, the researching funds given by the local education administrative departments are obviously inadequate and the evaluations focus more on the results rather than the process.At last, this paper has given some countermeasures and suggestions aiming at the status. First, teachers should learn how to improve their researching understanding,to enrich their theoretical knowledge, to improve their education researching behavior; Then the manager should change their educational philosophy, correct guiding ideology of educational researching, develop appropriate educational researching institutions and system, to create a good educational researching environment for teachers; last local education administrative departments should strengthen macro-management and undertake the decision-making tasks in educational researching, also should increase investment in regional educational researching funding, and provide teachers with more education and researching training and opportunities for exchanges with other regional cooperation, and actively provide teachers with a strong scientific research.The thesis is divided into five parts:the first is the introduction. Described the background of the subject, the purpose and significance of research, education and scientific research, research status, and the main method and process. The second part describes the education and scientific research related concepts, characteristics and development, as well as the related concepts of secondary school teachers of educational research, positioning, and its components. We can more deeply understand the meaning of middle school teachers’educational researching from the concept. The third part is the results and analysis. The survey results are summarized from the seven major dimensions of the questionnaire, and three factors affecting teachers’educational researching quality are obtained. They are the individual factor, the school management factor and local education administrative department factor. The fourth part is the countermeasures and suggestions. The countermeasures and suggestions are put forward according to the reasons analysis, so they are for the teachers, the schools and local education administrative departments. The fifth part is the final conclusion.
