The new curriculum reformation has placed new demands on teachers, The teachers should be the researchers in the teaching. The ability to research is one important part of teachers' qualities. Higher normal universities, as the cradle of teachers, should train qualified teachers who can adapt to the development of society for elementary education. The paper is to explore how to train the middle school research-typed teachers in higher normal universities. The paper mainly consists of five parts.The first part is about the background, the relevant researches, the thoughts, the methods on the topic.The second part is to analyze the results of the investigation on the research ability of middle school teachers and graduates in normal universities, and reach some conclusions from the results.The third part is to generalize the research, make the analysis of the research-typed teachers in teachers' eyes, and summarize external characteristics.The fourth part is concerned with the training aim of the research-typed teachers, course structure, teaching style and training mode of the research-typed teachers.The final part describes how to train the research-typed teachers in detail and evaluate the results.
