Reading occupies an important position in Chinese teaching.However,in the teaching of Chinese novels,there are many situations in which text reading is inefficient or ineffective.Novel teaching urgently needs to find a scientific and efficient text interpretation method to guide.In teaching,readers always accept ready-made text information in a passive attitude,and cannot actively enter the depth of the text for discussion.The comparative reduction method is a practical text interpretation method proposed by Sun Shaozhen.It aims to guide students to compare the unprocessed image in the original state with the image in the text,so as to find the "contradiction" in the seamless text works.In-depth analysis of the text to improve the efficiency of reading teaching.The application of comparative reduction method in novel teaching can bring some enlightenment to the current novel teaching.This paper firstly introduces the formation of Sun Shaozhen's text interpretation theory from a macro perspective,and expounds the connotation and characteristics of the comparative reduction method.Secondly,based on the characteristics of the comparative reduction method,the author systematically demonstrates the applicability and significance of the comparative reduction method in the teaching of novels in junior middle schools from several aspects such as Chinese curriculum standards and Chinese textbooks.The author divides the novels into poetic novels,plot novels and character novels according to the characteristics of the selected texts of the unified edition of junior high school Chinese novels,and uses case analysis to illustrate the specific operation methods of the comparative reduction method in different types of novels.At the same time,the comparative reduction method,as a method to assist in the interpretation of texts,also has many problems that need to be paid attention to in the process of using it.The author hopes that through the research on the comparative reduction method in the teaching of novels,I can give some suggestions to the teachers of primary and secondary schools.
