Cultivation is an education method based outlook on value of society,which can edifyand affect students unobtrusively through interesting activities..Cultivation has deep roots intraditional Chinese education.We can say that the history of Chinese education is also thehistory of cultivation.But nowadays Contemporary Chinese education is besieged bypragmatism and materialism,as a league of language and culture that Chinese has lost itscharacter of cultivation.In accordance of this situation,this dissertation attempts to explainthe connotation ,the characters and the ways of Chinese cultural education in primary schoolby the way that traces to its source and bases itself upon the present age.This dissertation is composed of five parts:The first section,Predicament and Introspection:Present situation of Chinese educationin primary school and Outstanding valuation of cultivation.First,the writer introspects thesituation about the short of spiritual life and the deterioration of spiritual world of childrenand then looks into the tendency seriously about pragmatism and materialism of Chineseeducation in primary school.Afterwards,she reveals the valuation of outstanding cultivationon Chinese education by analyses some new phenomenon of nearest Chinese teaching.The second section,Ideal and Contention:Putting forward Chinese cultural education inprimary school.Chinese cultural education in primary school is a ideal way to realize thefunction of culture on Chinese.To be more scientific and more accurate,this sectionbegins with the analysis of etymon to clarify the intension of the "cultivation",inquiring intodetect the difference between "Cultivation" and "Domestication" , "Nurture" and"Cultivation" in quality education.Contact with the reflection on the essence of Chinese,give a definition on Chinese cultural education in primary school.The third section,Sediment and Recall :Getting at the root of tradition about cultivation inChinese education.In this part using historic research and collecting a large number of todocuments to recall both contents and forms on traditional Chinese cultural education .The forth section,Revolt and Reply:Chinese cultural education in primary school ofcontemporary,the body of this dissertation.Some people conceive that cultivation is a ancientmethod in teaching that can not be used in the present age .In accordance of this view,thewriter explains the intermediaries,the demanding and the methods of Chinese culturalteaching in primary school to build its frame which meets the needs of times,and so we cancope with the query of some pessimists that if Chinese cultural education is feasible.Last section,Groping and Fumbling:Cases on Chinese cultural teaching in primary school,a naive work.Some cases that not mature about teaching on classic works reading, learningwords, handwriting,composition.This is my ideal which grows up when I faces the difficulties in practice:to put Chinesecultural education in primary school into practice and to realize the culture function ofChinese.This dissertation attempts to give a definition on Chinese cultural education inprimary school and build the frame of it.The writer was benefited by the cream of traditionalChinese education thoughts and drew on the experience of some teachers who be outstandingin Chinese teaching in order to make the discussion better.At the same time,the writer gavean systematic and normal analysis on "Cultivation" which few people conceived it as antheory,so this dissertation has valuation not only on practice but also on theory.Newborn isugly.However,my ideal of realize the Chinese cultural education in primary school will notbe moved.I will try my best to make Chinese teaching in primary school more and morebrilliant by "Cultivation"...
