Rently, with the rapid exchanges of economic and cultural fusion, how to make our traditional culture rooted into Chinese hearts and flowed? However, the author believe that, education is the only way to achieve it.“The more national, the more world”,such is the remark of Lu Xun.The rural teaching as an organic supplement for school teaching,which assumed the next generation′responsibility to impact excellent traditional culture.This paper divided into five parts. Above all, the introduction part from start,the author mainly discusses the purpose 、significance and status of the research, likewise, methods at home or even abroad.And then, defines the related concepts etc. With the second part, the writer mainly through the theoretical basis for the development of Nanyang Primary School of rural teaching and realistic basis to explore the feasibility and necessary of local art teaching. So, in this part, from the series of research results to analysis the domestic of rural education 、the rich local resources and significance of art primary education, to provide the necessary theoretical and practical support for the research topic in-depth, also proves the necessary of rural art textbook of primary school stage. In the third part, carries on the research from art teaching situation and the current development status,then in-depth understanded it, find out the formation reasons and problems, regarding this, provide reaiable reference. In the forth, from the topic choice 、general process strategy、theme model,these three aspects to discuss art teaching`development strategy, which references outstanding achievement of some excellent domestic area. And in the last part,through independent attempts, with the case of local art resources to provide a reference and make due contributions to the construction of Nanyang area rural art teaching development.“Art comes from life and higher than life.”The rural teaching skillfully enable to combined the school education and real life,even through the colorful performs.However,as to the development and exploration of rural art textbook,which has the era significance of cultural inheritance,to be extend,should paid more attention to our society and public.
