Due to the need of society development and the government support, there are manydevelopment opportunities for educational technology specialty in new century. More thaneighty Academies established educational technology specialty in two years, this developmentspeed is startling. There are many questions in the process of specialty construction, forexample cultivation target is not definite. The ability of information technology educationteachers is not enough to promote development of information technology education. It isnecessary to research the curriculum provision on information technology education directionof educational technology undergraduate specialty in normal university.Firstly, this paper discusses the necessity of the research of curriculum provision oninformation technology education direction of educational technology undergraduate specialtyin normal university.
