National development ultimately depends on the talents, and the key to the cultivation ofthe talents lies in learning efficiency. Enhancing learning efficiency is a very important issue,as the poor performance of many students often serves as the result of inefficient learning, andit is also of great concern to many students and parents.Based on the domestic and foreign theories, the study demonstrates the significance andvalue of the effectiveness of learning with the method of combining theory and practice. Andthrough questionnaires and interviews, we investigated the basic situation of the seniorstudents learning, understood the students' actuality in efficiency of mathematics learning,analyzed several factors that may affect their efficiency and finally made clear of theimportance and urgency of enhancing the efficiency of students' learning of mathematics.In view of the current status of mathematics learning efficiency of senior students, weadopted several corresponding approaches to enhance their efficiency, such as strengtheningthe instruction of learning skills, consolidating cultivation of non-intellectual factors, refiningthe cognitive structure of students in mathematics and so on. One year later, these approacheshave achieved considerable results that most of the students formed suitable learning methodsfor their own characteristics, developed their interest in learning and also improved theirlearning efficiency. Since learning efficiency is affected by many factors, the enhancing of theefficiency can not be accomplished overnight but should run through the whole process oflearning mathematics with long tireless efforts. As a result, only with the cooperation of thestudents, family, schools and society can we harvest more in the field.
