Constructivism, which is also called structuralism, advocates teacher-guided and learner-centered study. It emphasizes not only learner's function as cognitive subject, but teacher's guiding function. Since reform and open, it has been 20 years. As the continuous progress of reform on education and teaching, Chinese teaching is increasingly booming as other domains. Scientific research and teaching help each other, this advances Chinese teaching, it is taken seriously more and more. Looking for scientific theory as the base, forming new teaching idea, using new teaching model, transforming to concrete teaching action, all above are emphases of Chinese teaching reform. The basic education reform in our country, emphasizes on drawing rational kernel of idea on the basic of constructivism. Viewing today's teaching model, there's little based on constructivism theory, the research which links constructivism to Chinese teaching is starting just now.This article tries to expatiate basic idea of constructivism, scan the value of constructivism to the device of Chinese teaching, discusses how to devise Chinese teaching under the guiding of constructivism theory. There are four sections in this article:First is unscrambling constructivism theory, simply introducing the origin and develop of constructivism: the viewpoint of knowledge, study, teaching, teacher and student.The second section primarily discusses the value of constructivism to Chinese teaching device. Beginning from analyzing shortcoming of traditional Chinese teaching, discusses the guiding function of constructivism to Chinese teaching.In the third section, the writer discusses the using principle of constructivism theory in Chinese teaching device, namely emphasizing student-centered and the setting's important function to meaning construction, corporation study is the key of meaning construction; the final goal of study is to complete meaning construction but not teaching objective.In the fourth section, the writer primarily discusses how to devise Chinese study environment and strategy of subjective study, what's more, the outer reason and the inner reason, to carry out Chinese teaching device under the guide of constructivism.
